Procedure:

To update .NET:

1. Browse to the .NET download page https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/
2. Select the correct version for your MailMarshal release (8.0 or 10.0).
3. Download the latest version of the Hosting Bundle and the .NET Desktop Runtime.
4. On the Array Manager server:
   1. Stop the Array Manager service and RPC Proxy service (if present).
   2. Run the two installers.
   3. Restart IIS.
   4. Start the Array Manager service and RPC Proxy.

Notes:

• If you have set Windows Update to retrieve updates for additional products, the .NET packages will be updated automatically. However, this might not happen immediately. In case of urgent security issues, it is best to perform the update manually.
• You can uninstall older versions of .NET. Before uninstalling older major versions, ensure that no other software on the server requires them.
