Question:

When should I use a Real Time Probe?

Reply:

The Real Time Probe is located under the Reporting Tab of the R3000 GUI. This feature lets you monitor traffic in real time or a specified set time. This is a powerful tool because you can set the Probe to single out a specific user, IP, or website. So, the Real Time Probe would come in handy if you need to monitor a particular workstation or user during a specific time. Information in the report will include the IP address, username, date, time, URL request, etc. This report can emailed out or viewed through the GUI. For more information, please read the "Real Time Probe" section of the R3000 manual.
