Question:

How do I configure McAfee Enterprise to work with MailMarshal?

Procedure:

You can use McAfee Enterprise as a command line scanner with MailMarshal (if licensed for server use by McAfee).

  1. Install McAfee 8.0i on your MailMarshal server.
  2. In the MailMarshal Configurator or Management Console, navigate to Policy Elements > Virus Scanners. Add a scanner using the McAfee Command Line option.
  3. Enable the Block Virus rules to take advantage of the newly installed scanner.
