Symptoms:

• Messages with more than 250 recipients are rejected with Error: '452 Too many recipients'.

Causes:

Resolution:

To adjust the default limit, you can change a setting in the user interface. After changing the setting, commit configuration.

MailMarshal 10.0 and above

1. In the Management Interface, navigate to System Configuration | MailMarshal SEG Properties | Array Properties
2. Under Receiver Properties, select Advanced.
3. In the "max inbound" and/or "max outbound" fields, enter the maximum number of recipients as required.

 MailMarshal SMTP 6.5 through 8.2

1. In the Configurator, navigate to Tools | MailMarshal Properties.
2. Under Receiver Properties, select Advanced.
3. In the "max inbound" and/or "max outbound" fields, enter the maximum number of recipients as required.
