  • MailMarshal ECM/MailMarshal Exchange 7.X

Symptoms:

Event ID: 3511
Type: Error
Source: MMEngine (MailMarshal SMTP) or MEXEngine (MailMarshal Exchange)
Description: Message processing error

Causes:

This event is raised whenever a message processing error occurs that isn't handled by any of the other, more specific events. This will most commonly occur when a message is deadlettered as a result of rule processing, rather than during the unpacking process.

You can review the MailMarshal service logs for more information about the email message that caused this error. For help with interpreting logs, see Knowledge Base article Q10429.

If this error is associated with MailMarshal services stopping, or you require further assistance to determine the cause, contact your vendor or LevelBlue Technical Support.
