FAQ: How does WebMarshal calculate users for the purposes of licensing?

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • WebMarshal

Question:

  • How does WebMarshal calculate users for the purposes of licensing?
  • How can I view the current license count?

Reply:

To view the number of users a WebMarshal installation is licensed for, in the console click on Tools and select Licensing or View License Details

Note:

In some versions, the license display shows the count of logins seen. This count is calculated as the number of unique logins seen during a 30 day rolling period.

Exceeding the license count does not affect users browsing through WebMarshal.
