- Why is MailMarshal SPE not using the new database I created?
Information:
You can create a new database for MailMarshal SPE using the Database Wizard/Database Creator application.
The MailMarshal SPE web application may not use this new database immediately.
If the Marshal Interface Agent (MIA) and Management Interface (website) are hosted on different servers, make sure the database information is updated on both.
- Update the database on the MIA server first. When connecting to the database from the server hosting the Management Interface, do not choose to re-create the database.
Restart IIS on the server hosting the Management Interface.
Note:
If you need to change the database on a production installation, contact LevelBlue in advance. Licensing information will be lost when you change the database and must be re-activated.
