INFO: Changing SPE database requires IIS restart

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • MailMarshal SPE

Question:

  • Why is MailMarshal SPE not using the new database I created?

Information:

You can create a new database for MailMarshal SPE using the Database Wizard/Database Creator application.

The MailMarshal SPE web application will not use this new database immediately.

To force MailMarshal SPE to use the new database, restart IIS on the MailMarshal SPE Web console server.

Note:

If you need to change the database on a production installation, contact Marshal in advance. Licensing information will be lost when you change the database and must be re-activated by Marshal.
