Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • WebMarshal
  • SonicWall Firewall

Question:

  • Why are some users browsing slowly through WebMarshal when using SonicWall firewall?

Problem:

When using WebMarshal and SonicWall firewall with the Enforce Host Tag Search for CFS option turned on, browsing through WebMarshal may be slow. SonicWall and other applications such as WebMarshal can encounter a condition where each application is waiting for a response from the other.

Resolution:

SonicWall advises you can fix this problem by turning the Enforce Host Tag Search for CFS off.

Follow the steps below to turn the feature off:

  1. Log onto the SonicWall firewall interface.
  2. On the web browser's address bar, change 'main.html' to 'diag.html' and click Enter.
  3. Click the Internal settings button. Uncheck Enforce Host Tag Search for CFS and click Apply.

Notes:

For more information about this option contact SonicWall.
