Symptoms:

• Users unable to access Yahoo Mail or other Yahoo features

Causes:

Many Yahoo services that require login use the following site to provide login service:
https://login.yahoo.com

If a user is denied access to this URL, they will not be able to log in to Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Messenger, or other Yahoo services.

Resolution:

Add the URL https://login.yahoo.com to the default Safe Sites URL Category, or any URL category that ensures all users can access it.

Notes:

You can allow or deny access to the various Yahoo services using other rules.

• You can use Standard rules to control Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Groups, and other Yahoo websites.
