INFO: Additions to Release Notes for MailMarshal 6.8

Expand / Collapse

 This article applies to:

  • MailMarshal (SEG) 6.8

Question:

  • What are the Release Notes for MailMarshal SMTP 6.8?

Information:

The Release Notes included with MailMarshal SMTP 6.8 are accurate as of the date of publication.

This article provides any additional information generated after that date.

The latest release of MailMarshal SMTP 6.8 is 6.8.4.9558, released on November 16, 2010.

Comments and additions:

  • SQL Mixed Mode: The MailMarshal Array Manager and MMC based Reports can connect to the database with Windows Authentication. However, the Marshal Reporting Console currently still requires a SQL login to connect to the MailMarshal database. If you are using MRC you will still need to enable Mixed Mode.
  • Digest setup (Correction): To allow users to subscribe or unsubscribe from digests, use the Configurator to edit the properties of each digest and make the selection. If a user has the option to subscribe/iunsubscribe, they can use the SQM User Settings tab (Message Digests sub-tab), or an unsubscribe link on digests if this link is included in the digest template.
