This article applies to:

  • MailMarshal 11.2

Question:

  • What are the Release Notes for MailMarshal 11.2?

Information:

MailMarshal version 11.2 (11.2.0.7413) was released on September 4, 2025. The Release Notes included with the product are generally accurate as of the date of publication.

This article provides any additional information or corrections generated after that date.

See also article Q21135 for information about Known and Fixed Issues.

For current updates and information, customers should subscribe to the Notifications forum.

Database prerequisite:

You MUST use SQL 2016 or later when upgrading to 11.2. The upgrade process will encounter an issue if SQL 2014 is used on upgrade from some earlier versions.

Blended Threats URL changes:

The URL seen in links rewritten for Blended Threats scanning has changed in MailMarshal 11.2.
  • The URL of the scanner is now http(s)://urlscanner.mailmarshal.cloud
  • Version 11.2 retrieves BTM statistics from https://stats.btm.protection.mailmarshal.cloud
  • The previous URLs are still available to support links and stats requests from earlier MailMarshal versions.
  • Customers must ensure that access to the new URLs is permitted.

SQL Server 2025 detection:

The product installer will not automatically detect an installation of SQL 2025 installed locally.
  • To use a local installation of SQL 2025 or SQL 2025 express, you must perform a custom installation and enter the server and instance information.
