HOWTO: How do I increase the default number of Scheduled Events allowed?

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • Firewall Suite 4.X

Question:

How do I increase the default number of Scheduled Events allowed?

Procedure:

There is a limit to the number of scheduled events that can be created. The limit defaults to 2000. However, this number can be changed. (In earlier versions the limit defaulted to 1000 events.)

  1. To increase the default number of scheduled events access the following file:

      <Firewall_Suite_Install_Directory>\Scheduler\wt_scheduler.ini

  2. Open this file in a text editor and locate the [Defaults] section. Anywhere within this section add the following entry:

      MaxQSize=n
      [where n is the newly chosen default number of scheduled events]

  3. Save the changes. Exit and Unload the product and then restart for this change to take effect.
