• What forms of compression are supported by Firewall Suite?
• Are Z compressed log files supported by Firewall Suite?
• Are ZIP and GZ compressed log files supported by Firewall Suite?

Symptoms:

• Error: 'Failed to Extract'

Information:

Firewall Suite supports the ZIP and GZ forms of compression; however, WebTrends cannot analyze Z compressed log files.

Notes:

The log files must be decompressed prior to analysis. There must be sufficient hard disk space at the decompression location in order for the analysis to take place.
