Question:
What types of firewalls are supported by the Log File Forwarding agent?
Symptoms:
- Unable to get the Log File Forwarding agent to work with Symantec Enterprise Firewall.
Information:
Only AXENT Raptor Firewalls up to and including version 6.0 can use this Log File Forwarding agent. For more information about how to configure the Log File Forwarding agent, please see the following knowledge base article:

Starting with version 6.5, the AXENT Raptor Firewall became Symantec Enterprise Firewall. To transfer the log files from a Symantec Enterprise Firewall, you will need to use the following utilities provided by Symantec:
- RemPass.exe
- RemoteLogDir.exe
- RemoteLogFile.exe
