Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • Firewall Suite 4.1x

Question:

  • Why do my URL categorization reports show only 'Work related' and 'Non work related' categories?
  • What category mappings are available for reports using URL Categorization?

Causes:

When the Profile is configured to use Work Mappings category mappings, URL categorization reports show only Work related and Non work related categories.

Information:

To analyze web activities using the SurfControl URL Categorization database:

  1. On the Profile Category tab, enable Categorize web activity.

Note: Leave Category Mappings set to the default <None> if you do not want FWS to categorize as Work related and Non work related.

To create a new report:

  1. Delete all entries in the FastTrends database.

  2. Run the report or create a new Profile with the settings above to analyze the log files.
