Does EndPoint Security stop devices being mounted?

Information:

If a user connects an external device (such as a USB memory device, or external hard disk connected by either a USB or Firewire interface), if the Device Class is blocked for the user the device will not be visible to that user.

The device is mounted, and it may be available to the Windows system and other users.
