FAQ: I'm getting an email alerts about failures to download the R3000 patches, what should I do?

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • R3000

Question:

I'm getting an email alerts about failures to download the R3000 patches, what should I do?

Reply:

Configuration. Under Transfer Protocol make sure HTTPS is selected and click Apply. If HTTPS is already selected but you are still receiving email alerts about failure to download patches, it may not necessarily mean an actual problem but instead it could be a case of too many R3000s' trying to download a new patch at the same time and exceeding our patch update servers maximum number of available concurrent connections. In that case some R3000s would not be able to download patches for a period that could vary from a few hours to a few days.
