Can I filter by mac address?

Yes it's possible but only on the Mobile Client.

Up the version 4.2 the filter can do internal and filter laptops using a Mobile Client deployment, that's why you can see a mac address field in the Groups>IP section>members. It will not work internally with mac addresses.The 5.0 mobile client version is a different product  and will not use mac addresses but real authentication using a PKI method on server 2003/2008. 

mac addresses  below will go away on 5.0 version




This is for mobile client deployment only not for Lan connected PC's.

Please Use a static ip or a subnet range to setup a profile policy.
