How does streaming media category work?

The filter provides Streaming Media category will block sites by URL. However, it is possible that some sites will contain streaming media embedded within a web page like youtube.com. For these purposes the filter provides the ability to block access to streaming media files using pattern recognition as well.

 Flash Video - This pattern will identify flash video when accessed using IE.

Windows Media - Will identify media using the Windows Media format.

QuickTime Video - Will identify media using Apple's QuickTime format.

Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) - Will identify media served using the Real Time Streaming Protocol.
