Question:

How are FLV and WMV hits calculated?

Reply

Question: How are Page Hits are calculated for FLV and WMV?

Answer: A FLV hit is triggered when the browser makes a request to play a Flash Video file, the same goes for WMA  files if played.

With webmasters now using flash 9 .FLV plugin to create faster loading flash videos, you will begin to see an increase of this new category in the 2.1.x.x versions in your reports.

To find this category go to filter GUI>Groups>any Group Profile> Bandwith>Streaming media>Flash video.
