Question:

Is there an easy way to view all Addition and Deletion files for all Trustwave Supplied Categories? That is, view all changes I've made to the library.

Reply

You can view the Addition and Deletion files for each category from the GUI. However in doing this, you can only view one at a time, so it might seem tedious.

A better method may be to make a backup of the library and extract the files from there. The library backup file will essentially save all existing addition and deletion files for all supplied categories and keep the directory structure intact. So you would just have to decompress the backup file (.tar.gz) and use any sort of file exploring program to easily navigate through the files.

The backup will store the library files in the following directory:

\usr\local\shadow\library\url\

The "url" folder will contain subfolders for all supplied categories title by their short name. So the General Pornography files will be located in \usr\local\shadow\library\url\GPORN.

From there, there are 4 types of addition/deletions files:

add.url - URL addition file
url.del - URL deletion file

add.wld - Wildcard addition file
wld.del - Wildcard deletion file

These are all clear text files, so any type of text editor will be able to view it.
