This version 2.x  is unsupported on older filters, please upgrade to 4.0 on the older filters or call support to get new patches.
This KB does not apply to  WFR or WF at 2.0 and up versions

Applying R3000 v2.2 when using more than one R3000 in a synchronized environment
If you have an IR filter you must first apply the ER admin patch 5.1 or filter will seem not to apply the patch.

Products: R3000 Enterprise Filters deployed in a synchronized (source/destination)

If you have multiple R3000 Enterprise Filter's deployed in a synchronized environment, you should make sure that all of your filter's (source and destinations) have downloaded the version 2.2 upgrade before you begin applying the upgrades.

Filters on two different versions of the software will be incompatible with each other, so once you being the upgrade process with one filter, the filters in your synchronized environment will not work with each other until all have been upgraded to the latest version of the software.

Once you have ensured that the patch upgrade is available on your source and destination filters, you can proceed with your upgrade.
