  • R3000IR

Question:

  • I have multiple domains defined on my R3000. To make it easier for my users, can the Domain drop-down menu be disabled or removed from the Web Authentication Form?

Reply:

No, this is not possible.

If you are in an environment with multiple domains, the Web Authentication Form will list all active domains alphabetically in a drop-down menu. When the user authenticates through the Tier3 Web Form, they must select the correct Domain that they are a part of. If that same username exists within multiple domains, then they much select the domain they wish to be authenticated to.

The R3000 cannot automatically determine with which domain that user belongs to. If they select an domain that they are not a part of, then page will return an invalid username/password error.
