INFO: Why doesn't a custom URL redirect?

This article applies to:

  • Mobile Client

Question:

Why doesn't a custom URL redirect?

Reply

Currently (as of Mobile Client version 2.0.10.4), there is a known bug with the Mac version of the 8e6 Mobile Client - if a custom URL is set as the redirect page for a user, the client will simply get the R3000 default block page instead.  This bug is Mac-specific; Windows Mobile Clients should not be affected.  This issue will likely be addressed in the next version release of the Mobile Client.
