FAQ: Does the R3000 in mobile mode filter Blackberries?

Question:

  • I am setting up a Blackberry (BES) server and am concerned with the lack of internet filtering; is there a mobile client that can be put on Blackberries?

Reply:

Not at this time - the mobile clients are meant to be installed on Mac and Windows laptops, not Blackberries.

Notes:

Since the Blackberry server acts as a proxy for the Blackberry devices, you can simply filter that server's traffic with a normal R3000 to filter the Blackberries.
