If you need to stop authenticat.exe on a system, and the user does not have the rights to open up the task manager to kill the process, you can stop it by placing a copy of authenticat.exe locally on that workstation, and running it as follows from a command prompt:
authenticat.exe terminate
This will stop the process, as well as the LDAP profile for the user on the R3000.
