INFO: Creating a custom message for Coaching in 8.4.3

Expand / Collapse

  • Description
The option to choose a custom defined message for the Coach action in a rule is disabled.

  • Symptoms
In 8.4.3, it is no longer optional to choose a configured message as a reason in a coach action rule.

(The reason field is grayed out when you choose Coach as a user response action):

  • Cause
As the Coaching action is only related to the URL policy being violated, it was decided that having more than one type of coaching messages is irrelevant.

  • Solution
After defining a custom message for the Coaching action - it will automatically become the default one and will be shown in every Coaching rule.

  • Software Version
    8.4.3
