FIX: Cannot get login prompt after Java update

This article applies to:

  • R3000 (all versions)

Symptoms:

  • After upgrading Java on your workstation, the username/password prompt no longer appears when you try to log into the R3000's admin GUI.

Resolution:

Open the Control Panel on your PC

Click on the "Java" icon

Select the "Advanced" tab

Go to:

Security > Mixed Code (sandbox vs. trusted) security verification

select the "Enable - hide warning and run with protections" option

Click "Apply" and then "OK"

Close any browser windows that are open
