  • What is mobile client 3.0 Auto-Update File Set?

Information:

This archive contains all of the files which should be placed on the update server for auto-update.  It includes packages for Mac and Windows workstations, as well as support files required by the auto-update infrastructure.

If you are using the R3000 Mobile Server (Web Filter) as your update source, this archive can be directly uploaded to the server using the administrative interface. This option requires a Web Filter appliance running software version 4.0.00 or later, or a WFR appliance running software version 2.0.00 or later.

If you are using your own web server as the update source, these files should be extracted onto the server such that they are accessible on the Internet from the URL you specified in the "Update URL" field of the configuration.

Note:

Mobile Client Updater MUST be deployed initially, otherwise mobile clients workstation will not download the updates.
