PRB: Authenticator does not run under Windows 7/Vista

Symptoms:

When running the Authenticator (authenticat.exe) in a Windows 7 or Vista environment (either 32 or 64 bit), the authenticator does not stay running properly.

Resolution:

In most cases, problems with executing the Authenticator in these environments can be resolved by making sure that the authenticat.exe file is set to run with Windows XP compatibility enabled, as well as enabling Run as Administrator.
