Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • Using troubleshooting mode for not filtering issues

Question:

  • I just installed a new filter and see no traffic

Procedure:

Please follow the steps below to use troubleshooting mode below.

1. The menu tab

2. The diagnostics link

3. Troubleshooting mode

4.Enable button

5.The right Lan selection<--we want the 1.2.3.x ip that listens or monitors the traffic usually a span port.

6. This is what we need, out bound port 80 packets, do not use all packets. If no packets seen?(possible post span issue)

7.Don't forget to disable troubleshooting mode when finished otherwise no filtering will take place.
