INFO: If the synchronization feature is used in our environment, do all WFRs and Web Filters need to be running the same software version?

Question:

If the synchronization feature is used in our environment, do all WFRs and Web Filters need to be running the same software version?

Information:

In a synchronization environment, all Web Filters must use the same software version. For example, if the 4.2.00 software release is installed on the source Web Filter, all target Web Filters must be upgraded to 4.2.00.

Notes:

If you are planning to upgrade software version on your filters, make sure the software update is already available in all the filters.
