FAQ: Some web pages seem slow to load on first time

Question:

Why do some web pages seem slow to load on first time, it takes about 10 sec?
capture shows that the request was completed in 8 seconds. The first 6 sec was for the first request and inner URLs took another 2 sec.
I´ve tried 'full bypass' policy and this does not speed issues up.
Disabling caching does not help
On second access to the same page the speed is good
All latest patches and SUs are installed

This could be due to a Malware Entrapment issue.
In Administration->System settings->Scanning engines->MalwareEntrapment-> Scanning timeout -> change it from 5 to 2 , commitchanges and see if it makes any change.
