HOWTO: How to configure Network Time Protocol Server for ER/SR.

Expand / Collapse

This article applies to:

  • Security Reporter v3.2.0
  • Enterprise Reporter v3.2.0

Question:

  • How do I configure an NTP server

Procedure:

1. Enter or edit an IP address in each appropriate field:

• In the Server 1 field, enter the IP address of the primary NTP server to be used for clock settings on
your server.

• In the Server 2 field, enter the IP address of the secondary NTP server. The time from this server will
be used by your server if the IP address for the primary server fails to be accessed by your server.

• In the Server 3 field, enter the IP address of the tertiary NTP server. The time from this server will be used by
your server if the IP addresses for the primary andsecondary servers fail to be accessed by your server.

2. Click the Save button to save your entries.

Notes:

By default, the following IP addresses display in these three fields: 128.59.35.142, 142.3.100.15, and
129.132.98.11. If you wish to use different NTP servers, follow the steps described above.
